ONE WAY OUT - JESUS!
The net is closing fast and already, for most people, there are few ways out.
Jobs are vanishing. Real business opportunities are already scarcer than hen's teeth.
Soon, living off the welfare state will no longer be an option.
But there is ONE WAY OUT for those who really trust the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour.
It is living in this evil world by faith as a true Bible Believer and ambassador for Christ.

THE THREE Rs
Have you mastered the Three Rs yet? No, bless your heart, that's not the "reading,
'riting, 'rithmetic" you got to grips with back in primers. No, no. These are vital,
basic learning skills for believers who want to grow in grace and become able
"ambassadors" for the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 5:19-20).

PRAYER, GRACE AND TRUST
Prayer has changed since our Lord walked this earth. Back then (in the Matthew,
Mark, Luke and John period) Jesus told his disciples to "ask anything in my name
and I will do it". Today by contrast, in the dispensation of the grace of God
(Paul's epistles) we are told to pray with thanksgiving, making our requests
known to God and that He will keep our minds and hearts in peace. And we are
not necessarily guaranteed the answers we seek.

STUDIES IN ACTS Part One - The Book Between.
If there were no Book of Acts we would go straight from reading in the gospels about "things which Jesus did" among the Jews (John 21:25) to a letter addressed to the Gentile Romans.
The first words we would read (Romans 1:1) are: "Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle .".
Yet no mention is made of this new apostle in the gospels. Truly Acts is the "Book Between".

STUDIES IN ACTS Part Two - Acts of the Risen Christ.
In Acts 1:1 we learn that Acts is the second "treatise" penned by Luke. His gospel tells what
Jesus "began to do and to teach" during his earthly ministry. The sequel, Acts records what
Jesus went on to do and to teach after his ascension to heaven. Thus while the Holy Spirit,
Peter and Paul, are all key players in Acts, it is in fact the Lord Jesus Christ who is calling
the shots and both doing and teaching through them.

STUDIES IN ACTS Part Three - The huge change in mid-Acts.
In Acts 11, 13 and 14 the gospel explodes to the Gentiles. For 1500 years, from the dispersion
from the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11) to the raising up of Paul as the apostle to the Gentiles
(Acts 9, 22 and 26) there has been a middle wall of partition (Ephesians 2:14-15). Now the
gospel (good news) this wall has been broken down by Christ begins to be preached (Acts 11:23,
13:39, 13:46-48) to Gentiles for the first time.
